Block 1: The Workshop
- Main purpose: Showing your staff how using simple magic in the classroom can encourage students to enjoy asking questions, problem solving, and critical thinking outside of normal classwork/homework.
- Teambuilding: The workshop kicks off with problem solving games that have your staff working in groups, getting re-energized, and beginning to think like magicians.
- Magic Tricks: Ben will teach the staff simple magic tricks that, with a little practice, they will be able to perform for their students.
- The Real Magic: Ben will explain how showing students magic can add dimension to the curriculum. Magic can be used to re-capture attention, get students to find critical thinking fun, illustrate lessons, become a memorable teacher, and break away from worksheets and screens.
Block 2: The Show
- Main Purpose: Ben's comedy magic show is pure fun! Give your staff a treat and a total break from PD.
- The show is a great way to kick off an early morning, as a way to overcome the post-lunch grogginess, or as a special celebration event for the end of the day.
